The private market is not homogeneous. It is largely composed of tens of thousands of small providers operating mainly in individual outpatient segments. At the same time, a significant share of revenues is concentrated among a small group of large providers, primarily in laboratory diagnostics and multi-profile clinics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the report\u2019s estimates, in 2024 the size of the private healthcare market amounted to approximately UAH 63 billion. Around 90% of this volume was generated outside public financing. This means that the private sector still largely depends on direct out-of-pocket payments by patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, the role of institutional funding sources is gradually increasing, including the Program of Medical Guarantees, voluntary health insurance, and corporate medical programs. The structure of financing will largely determine how this market develops going forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
